Jim Mathers has been affiliated with the Church of Scientology since 1989.
“A friend told me to read Dianetics and I did.” Being a licensed professional nuclear engineer, he could relate to this book as it is built on scientific and engineering principles. “I was able to completely understand how the human mind works and, then able to apply these principles to improve my life and help others. The principles of Dianetics have helped me succeed in life, by giving me a strong understanding of how the mind can influence overall behavior”. Jim Mathers has been active in sports and business all his life and keeping a strong, healthy body is important to him because he is responsible for taking care of his family.
Jim Mathers was baptized a catholic, raised as a Lutheran and he always wondered why people were only nice on Sunday mornings. “I couldn’t understand why some people were so angry, or unhappy, or dissatisfied with life in general. I kept asking myself “why are we here”. In Scientology, I found the answers to those questions. The funny part is: the answers are so simple!”
Scientology helped Jim with his marriage and he has been happily married for 20 years. “The best part of my wife is my best friend! She was already a Scientologist when I met her and we have spent the last 20 years happily and successfully navigating through life”. Together they have helped thousands of people improve their lives with Scientology.
“The major point for me was that I didn’t believe people were just supposed to “coast” through life like a twig on a river. I wanted a powerful motor on my boat to go up or down stream and anywhere else on the river of life that I wanted to go, when I wanted to go. Scientology has helped me be “Cause Over Life”. That in itself has been the biggest gift of Scientology for me”.
As President and one of the owners of Consumer Energy Solutions, Jim Mathers uses the Hubbard Management System on a daily basis to expand his company’s successful relations both with clients and employees.
